 To develop a quality society by instilling values in children who can participate responsibly in the changing world.

To motivate, encourage , mould and prepare children to appreciate, respect and be aware of their physical and social  learning environment which enable them to strive for excellence in academic performance and spritual development
The subjects offered in this department are:
  • social science at form three and four level. 
  • Geography at forms five,six and Seven.
  •

    FORM THREE INTERNAL ASSESSMENT (CAT/CBA)Department Highlights
    • The department organizes annual field trips for senior level students.Sites visited recently are: Intercontinental resort,
    Fiji Meteorological Station,Sofitel,Punja’s Ocean Soaps,M.R.Dayal Industries and The Fijian Resort.
    • Excursions are also organized for form three for internal assessment tasks.
    • The department has access to internet labs and all senior level research is carried out on the net.
    • Lessons in Geography is also carried out via  PowerPoint presentations.
    • Regular professional development sessions are conducted in the department.

    Challenges
    As the dynamics of change keeps affecting the little minds as they get more exposure to the modernizing world in this age of globalization, the department seeks to develop students understanding, knowledge, skills, and values through an integrated study of people and their environment so that they can contribute positively to a changing society, in particular to an improvement in the quality of life and peaceful living.

    Future
    The department strives to equip students with knowledge and skills so that they can understand  the inter-relationships between people as well as people and the environment so that they can respond effectively and creatively to career opportunities to earn a living as well as better their lives.
