Furthermore students actively participate in all the workshops that are conducted by the Ministry of Education on a regular basis. This helps to bring about changes and prepare for challenges in the future.

CHALLENGES/ SUGGESTIONS
There is a growing demand for skilled people in the job market today. Through consistent publicity about Home Economics, the Department is moving towards attracting more male students to take up this subject. It is no longer a gender bias subject in this 21st century.

CONCLUSION

There has been an immense support to the Department by the Management and Administration. The active involvement of the Department in any school function to make it a success is always given a priority. This motive will surely lead to a great team work and in preparing each child for a great future!
